Your Dashboard at a Glance
The Surva.ai dashboard is your command center for AI visibility and competitive intelligence. Every time you log in, you get an instant read on how your brand is performing across AI platforms, how competitors are moving, and where the biggest opportunities are. This guide walks through every element on the screen.
Quick Stats Bar
The colored pill bar at the top of the dashboard gives you four at-a-glance numbers for your current brand:
- AI Visibility % (indigo pill) - The percentage of your tracked prompts where your brand appears in at least one AI platform response. Click to open the full AI Visibility report at /ai-visibility.
- Article Ideas - Number of content opportunities identified by the Content Planner based on your gaps and competitor analysis. Links to the Content Planner keyword tab.
- Prompts - Total number of tracked prompts (keywords and queries) active for this brand. Click to manage prompts at /prompts.
- Competitors with Ads - How many tracked competitors are currently running Google Ads on your keywords. Links to the Ads Creatives page.
Brand Visibility Over Time Chart
The main chart shows how often each brand appears in AI responses over time, expressed as a percentage of prompts. Key details:
- Y axis - Percentage of tracked prompts where the brand appears in an AI response
- Lines - Your brand is shown in indigo; competitors cycle through color variants. Click any brand in the right-side legend to toggle it on or off.
- Time range - Switch between 14 days, 30 days, and 3 months using the controls in the top right of the chart section.
- Mention count - The legend shows total AI mentions for each brand over the selected period.
The brand list on the right shows up to 10 brands ranked by current AI visibility percentage. Your brand always appears first in indigo. This data is drawn from the same Share of Voice calculations as the AI Visibility page.
AI Intelligence Card
The AI Intelligence card shows your brand's share of AI results and compares it to your top competitor. It includes:
- Your share of AI results - What percentage of AI responses for your tracked prompts include your brand
- vs top competitor - How your score compares to the highest-visibility competitor in your space
- Platform breakdown - Your visibility on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews individually
- AI digest summary - Recent changes: new AI mentions, AI Overview appearances, and platform-specific shifts

Tracked Prompts Card
Shows your total tracked prompt count and how many have content gaps - prompts where competitors appear in AI responses but your brand does not. The gap count links to the Insights and Alerts page where you can act on specific opportunities.
Competitor Activity Feed
The right column shows recent competitor moves detected by Surva.ai:
- New Google Ads for competitors on your tracked keywords
- Landing page content changes flagged by the page monitor
- Keyword ranking position changes
- New AI visibility appearances for competitors
Each activity item links to the relevant detail page. Click View all to open the full Competitors section at /competitors.
Trial and Sync Banners
If you are on a free trial, a countdown banner at the top shows days remaining with an upgrade link. When you first add a brand or trigger a refresh, a blue syncing banner appears while Surva.ai collects initial data (typically 2 to 5 minutes).
Add Prompt and Refresh
The Add Prompt button in the top-right header opens a quick-add modal to track a new keyword immediately. The circular arrow icon next to it triggers a manual refresh of all topics for the current brand - useful before a report or client call.

The left sidebar gives you access to every section of the platform, organized by function:
AI Visibility
- AI Visibility - Overview dashboard with trend charts, platform breakdown, and share of voice
- Discover Prompts - Find new prompts to track using competitor data, related questions, and AI-generated suggestions
- Prompts - Full list of tracked prompts with per-platform visibility status
- Citations - URLs from your domain cited by AI platforms
- Brand Mentions - How your brand is discussed in AI responses
- Site Audit - Technical and content audit for AI readiness
Content Tools
- Content Planner - Plan and generate articles targeting your visibility gaps
- Insights and Alerts - Answer gaps, opportunities, and automated alerts for your brand
Competitor Intel
- Competitors - Competitor profiles with AI visibility, ads, and keyword data
- Ads Creatives - Full library of competitor Google Ads with history
- Ad Swipe Files - Saved ad creatives organized for reference
- Landing Page Changes - Competitor page updates tracked over time
Organic Search
- Organic Rankings - Your keyword ranking positions and changes
- SERP Matrix - Grid view comparing rankings across all competitors
Site Tracking
- AI Referrals - Traffic arriving at your site from AI platforms
- Snapshots - Historical snapshots of brand and competitor data
- Crawler Logs - When AI bots visit your site and which pages they index
Brand Switcher
If you manage multiple brands on one account, the brand switcher appears in the sidebar. Click it to switch brands - all dashboard data reloads for the selected brand. Each brand has completely isolated tracking data, competitors, and settings.
Settings and Account
The gear or profile area at the bottom of the sidebar opens account settings:
- Profile - Name, email, and account preferences
- Billing - Plan details, usage, and payment
- Team - Invite and manage team members
