Track Your Brand Mentions in AI
The Brand Mentions page shows every instance where your brand is mentioned across AI platforms. Unlike Citations (which track links), Brand Mentions track when AI assistants actually name your brand in their responses.
Accessing Brand Mentions
Navigate to AI Visibility > Brand Mentions in the sidebar.
What Counts as a Brand Mention?
A mention is recorded when:
- ChatGPT includes your brand name in a response
- Perplexity references your brand (with or without a citation)
- Claude recommends or discusses your brand
- Gemini includes your brand in an answer
- Google AI Overview mentions your brand
Brand Mentions Dashboard
The dashboard shows:
- Total Mentions - Count across all platforms
- Mentions by Platform - Breakdown by AI platform
- Mention Trend - How mentions are changing over time
- Sentiment Analysis - Positive, neutral, or negative context
- Top Prompts - Which prompts generate the most mentions
Platform Filter
Filter mentions by platform to see:
- ChatGPT only
- Perplexity only
- Claude only
- Gemini only
- Google AI Overviews only
Mention Details
Click any mention to see:
- The full AI response text
- The prompt that triggered the mention
- Where your brand appears in the response
- Sentiment of the mention
- Other brands mentioned alongside you
- Any citations included
Mention Quality Indicators
Not all mentions are equal. Look for:
- Position - First mention vs. later in a list
- Context - Recommendation vs. just being named
- Sentiment - Positive endorsement vs. neutral mention
- Accompaniment - Solo mention vs. listed with competitors
Improving Brand Mentions
To increase how often AI mentions your brand:
- Build authority content in your niche
- Get mentioned on high-authority third-party sites
- Ensure consistent brand information across the web
- Create content that directly answers common questions
- Target comparison and recommendation prompts

Export your brand mentions data:
- CSV export with all mention details
- Filter by date range before export
- Include prompt and platform information
