Prompt Detail Page

The Prompt Detail page shows everything Surva.ai knows about a specific AI search query, including the actual AI-generated responses, competitor mention data, organic ranking positions, active ads, and trend history. Click any row in the AI Visibility > Prompts table to open the detail page for that query.

At the top of the page, a metrics bar shows key data for this prompt at a glance:

  • Search Volume - average monthly Google searches for this query
  • CPC - average cost per click in Google Ads, indicating commercial value
  • Trend Score - current search momentum on a 0-100 scale (scores above 70 display a "Hot" badge)
  • Your Visibility - a circular progress indicator showing the percentage of AI platforms that mention your brand for this prompt. Color-coded: green (50% or more), yellow (25% or more), orange (any mention above 0%), gray (no mentions)
  • Competitors - count of competitor brands mentioned across AI responses for this prompt

Two action buttons appear in the header: Refresh to trigger an immediate rescan across all AI platforms, and the navigation breadcrumb to return to the Prompts table.

Tab 1: AI Responses

The default tab shows the actual text responses captured from each AI platform. For each platform that returned a response:

  • Platform name and icon (Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini)
  • The full AI-generated response rendered as formatted text
  • Your brand name highlighted wherever it appears in the response text
  • Competitor brand names also highlighted in a different color
  • Citation links listed below the response (platforms that cite sources)
  • Timestamp showing when this response was captured

Platforms that did not return a response for this prompt show a "No response captured" indicator. This can mean the platform did not generate a brand-mentioning response, or this prompt has not yet been scanned on that platform.

How to use this data: Read competitor responses carefully to understand what content they cite and what positioning they use. When your brand does not appear, the competitor response shows you exactly what you need to outcompete.

Tab 2: Competitor Mentions

A breakdown of every brand mentioned across all AI platforms for this prompt:

  • Brand favicon and name
  • Which platforms mention this brand (shown as platform icons)
  • Mention count across all scans
  • Whether this brand is a tracked competitor in your account (competitor badge if yes)

Your brand appears in the list with a "Your Brand" indicator. This tab helps you quickly assess the competitive landscape for this specific query - who appears everywhere, who appears on only one platform, and whether you have any advantage.

Tab 3: Organic Rankings

Current organic search rankings for this keyword, showing where your brand and competitors rank in traditional Google search results:

  • Domain name with favicon
  • Current ranking position (color-coded: green for 1-3, blue for 4-10, amber for 11-20, gray for 21+)
  • Position change indicator (up arrow for improvement, down arrow for drop, dash for no change)
  • Your brand is highlighted in the list

Organic rankings correlate with AI visibility - pages that rank well organically are more likely to be cited in AI responses. If a competitor ranks in position 1-3 for this query and gets cited in AI responses, their top-ranking page is likely the one being cited.

The organic data comes from the last SERP snapshot for this keyword. Rankings update on your plan's refresh schedule (every 2 days for Starter and Growth, daily for Business).

Tab 4: Active Ads

Any Google Ads currently running for this keyword, showing:

  • Advertiser domain with favicon
  • Ad headline and description text
  • Display URL and final landing page URL
  • Ad position (Top, Side, etc.)
  • First seen and last seen dates for this ad creative
  • Whether the advertiser is a tracked competitor in your account

This tab shows you who is spending money to appear for this exact query. If competitors are advertising heavily on a keyword but you are not, that signals commercial intent worth evaluating. If you are running ads and competitors are not, you may have a cost-effective window.

Ad data is collected from the Google Ads Transparency Center and DataForSEO. For tracked competitors with deep tracking enabled, ads are refreshed weekly. Ads for non-tracked advertisers are collected during SERP scans.

Trend Chart

A line chart at the bottom of the page (or accessible via a Trend tab depending on your view) shows historical data for this prompt:

  • Search Volume trend line showing how interest in this query has changed over time
  • Your Visibility line showing your AI mention percentage at each scan point
  • Competitor Visibility lines for up to 5 tracked competitors
  • Date markers for significant changes or scans

Use the period selector to view 14 days, 30 days, or 3 months of history. This chart helps you understand whether your visibility for this specific prompt is improving or declining, and whether any competitor has recently gained or lost ground.

Actions

Several actions are available from the prompt detail page:

  • Refresh - triggers an immediate rescan of this prompt across all AI platforms. Useful after publishing new content targeting this query.
  • Create Content - opens the Content Wizard pre-filled with this prompt as the target topic
  • Delete - removes this prompt from tracking. A confirmation dialog warns that all associated data (AI visibility history, organic rankings, ad data, trend history) will be permanently deleted.
